Luis Castillo picks up fifth win Thursday
by Elliott Baas | Mariners Correspondent | Fri, May 17th 11:51am EDT
Luis Castillo allowed two runs on two hits over 5.1 innings in the Reds' 4-2 win over the Cubs on Thursday. He walked one and struck out six while improving to 5-1.
Fantasy Impact:
Castillo only went 76 pitches in this one, which is disappointing since he was pitching well prior to exiting. He now has a 1.90 ERA and 5-1 record on the year with an 11.09 K/9 in 61.2 innings. He seems to have made the leap towards acehood this season, and should finish as a top-20 pitcher. His next start comes Wednesday at Milwaukee.
