Anthony DeSclafani allows four runs in loss Friday

by Elliott Baas | Twins Correspondent | Sat, May 18th 12:05pm EDT

Anthony DeSclafani allowed four runs on six hits over four innings in the Reds' 6-0 loss to the Dodgers on Friday. He walked none and struck out four while falling to 2-2.

Fantasy Impact:

This is two straight starts of four-inning, four-run ball from DeSclafani. Prior to those starts it was beginning to look like DeSclafani had turned a corner, but it's clear he still has many of the same flaws after allowing three home runs in this start. He could still be used in soft matchups, but his chronic Gopheritis makes him hard to trust at home or against powerful lineups. He's best left on the bench next time out, Friday at the Cubs.
