Miles Mikolas hammered for seven runs in loss Friday

Miles Mikolas allowed seven runs on nine hits over 1.1 innings in the Cardinals' 7-3 loss to the Rangers on Friday. He walked none and struck out two while falling to 4-4.

Fantasy Impact:

Mikolas washed out in Texas five years ago, and it wasn't a welcome homecoming for him in this one. Texas is perhaps the toughest place to pitch after Colorado, but this start was exceptionally bad. He served up two bombs in the second, which accounted for five of the seven runs he allowed. He'll get a chance to turn things around Friday vs. Atlanta.
