Jacob deGrom strikes out eight in no-decision Wednesday

by Mike Maher | Rangers Correspondent | Thu, May 23rd 8:05am EDT

Mets starter Jacob deGrom allowed one run on two hits and three walks over six innings while striking out eight in a no-decision against the Washington Nationals.

Fantasy Impact:

The Mets went on to win but did not break through with any run support until deGrom's counterpart Max Scherzer exited the game after six innings. While off the pace from his 2018 Cy Young season, deGrom bounced back on Wednesday after allowing six earned runs against the Marlins last time out. He will take a 3.72 ERA into his next start against the Dodgers in Los Angeles.
