Jeff Samardzija was a tough-luck loser on Wednesday versus Atlanta, allowing six runs (zero earned) in six innings versus the Braves.
Fantasy Impact:
Things fell apart in the second inning for Samardzija, who's own error led to the unearned runs. He then struck out Ronald Acuna to get out of the inning but it was a wild pitch that allowed him to reach. Still, fantasy owners will take six shutout innings in the stats. Samardzija has a nice matchup versus the Marlins next time out.
