Jordan Lyles picks up win despite allowing six runs Thursday
by Elliott Baas | Royals Correspondent | Thu, May 23rd 10:27pm EDT
Jordan Lyles allowed six runs on seven hits over 5.2 innings in the Pirates' 14-6 win over the Rockies on Thursday. He walked one and struck out six while improving to 5-1.
Fantasy Impact:
Lyles got plenty of support from his offense in this one, which helped make up for a lackluster start. On the bright side, Lyles only allowed two extra-base hits and had a 70.3% strike rate. This poor outing doesn't look too bad from a three true outcomes perspective. His next start comes Tuesday at Cincinnati.
