Bryan Reynolds hits pinch-hit, three-run homer Thursday

Bryan Reynolds went 1-for-1 with a pinch-hit, three-run home run in the Pirates' 14-6 win over the Rockies on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact:

Reynolds had the day off in this one, but made a big impact when called upon. He's been red hot as of late, and now has a .321 AVG and .247 ISO on the year. He is competing with Melky Cabrera for playing time, and while Cabrera is hitting well Reynolds is younger and has a more complete skillset compared to Cabrera. The Pirates may prefer to see what they have in Reynolds and give him the bulk of the playing time while Corey Dickerson is out.
