Joey Votto doubles and scores twice Friday

Joey Votto went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in the Reds' 6-5 win over the Cubs on Friday.

Fantasy Impact:

That double was the first extra-base hit in ten days for Votto, who now has a paltry .128 ISO on the year along with a .215 AVG. His track record suggests Votto can turn things around, but his age and power decline from last season should be cause for concern. In deeper leagues, owners are stuck with him, but patience is wearing for those that own him in shallow leagues. Don't drop Votto yet, but there's a spot on the bench with his name on it.
