Jack Flaherty fired six scoreless innings and struck out seven in the Cardinals' 4-3 extra innings loss to the Braves on Sunday. He allowed three hits, no walks, and took a no decision.
Fantasy Impact:
Flaherty was on in this one, but unfortunately his bullpen couldn't seal the deal for Flaherty to get a win. The young right-hander has had his ups and downs this year, but he has the talent to crank out starts like this with regularity. He just needs to reign in his command with the slider before that can happen, and this outing was a great start. He'll next take the hill Saturday vs. Chicago.
