Red Sox starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi will throw a simulated game on Thursday or Friday in New York, according to a report from Red Sox beat writer Chris Cotillo on Twitter. (Chris Cotillo on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Eovaldi has been on the injured list since mid-April with an elbow injury that required surgery but has been making progress and has been throwing bullpen sessions over the last couple of weeks. If his simulated game goes well this week, his next step would likely be a rehab assignment.
