Chicago White Sox right-hander Ivan Nova pitched well in a rain-shortened start against the Royals. The game was started on Monday but was suspended and finished on Tuesday afternoon. Nova pitched five innings of one-run ball in the eventual 2-1 win over the Royals.

Fantasy Impact:

Nova had to settle for a no-decision in one of his best outings of the year. The veteran right-hander has really struggled on the mound, posting a 6.52 ERA in 59 1/3 innings. That being said, he's only allowed four runs over his past two starts.
