Kansas City Royals right-hander Homer Bailey pitched well in a rain-shortened start against the White Sox on Monday. Bailey allowed one run over 4 1/3 innings in the game, which was suspended and completed on Tuesday afternoon. The White Sox wound up winning 2-1.

Bailey hasn't pitched well this season, although he has had a few good starts. He now has a 4-5 record, 5.79 ERA, 1.48 WHIP, and 49 strikeouts in 51 1/3 innings of work.
