Raisel Iglesias logged a scoreless inning of relief on Wednesday, allowing two hits while striking out two batters.
Fantasy Impact:
Iglesias lowered his ERA and to 3.08 in the process, and his WHIP sits at 1.22 on the season. Both ratios are high for what was expected to be a solid reliever entering the season. Another knock on Iglesias is that he hasn't seen every save opportunity for the Reds, a team that hasn't seen a ton of save opportunities in the early going. Still, given the number of closer committees used in the majors today, Iglesias remains a valuable commodity in all leagues due to his role and strikeout upside.
