Cole Irvin recalled, will start for Phillies on Saturday

The Philadelphia Phillies on Friday placed starting pitcher Zach Eflin on the 10-day injured list and recalled Cole Irvin from Triple-A Lehigh Valley to take his place on the roster. Irvin is scheduled to start against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday. (Jim Salisbury)
Fantasy Impact:
Irvin had mixed results in his first three starts this season, tossing two quality starts before allowing seven earned runs in a loss to the Cubs. Now, the young left-hander is being given another shot to start but might be headed back to the minors if Eflin is to return next week from his mild back tightness.
