Joey Votto went 3-for-4 with three singles, an RBI, and a run scored in the Reds' 9-3 win over the Nationals on Friday.
Votto hadn't played since Monday due to a sore hamstring, but he picked up right where he left off before the injury. He now has five straight multi-hit games, and is riding a seven-game hit streak. He's raised his batting average to .253 over the past week, but his .121 ISO leaves much to be desired. Hopefully, this recent hot stretch is a sign of Votto turning things around.
