Phillies pitcher Cole Irvin allowed two earned runs on four hits and one walk while striking out five over 3 2/3 innings while pitching in relief for the Phillies on Saturday.
Fantasy Impact:
While it was originally reported that Irvin was going to start on Saturday, the Phillies opted instead to use an opener and have Irvin handle the bulk of the relief duty. It is not clear if Irvin will make his next scheduled start against the Reds or if Zach Eflin will return from the injured list.
