Tanner Roark takes fourth loss Saturday

by Elliott Baas | Sun, Jun 2nd 12:41pm EDT

Tanner Roark allowed four runs on six hits over six innings in the Reds' 5-2 loss to the Nationals on Saturday. He walked one and struck out six while falling to 4-4.

Fantasy Impact:

It was all about the long ball for Roark in this one, as he allowed two and hit one himself, driving in the Reds' only two runs. Roark had a 2.28 ERA in May with a 3.56 K/BB ratio, so it was disappointing to see his June start off rocky. As always, it's better to use Roark away from Great American Ballpark whenever possible. His next start is on the road, but it's not easy, as he goes to Philadelphia on Friday.
