Matt Strahm took the loss on Sunday versus Miami, giving up seven runs on seven hits over 4 1/3 innings pitched.

Strahm struck out five and walked none as the Padres lost 9-3. It was a disappointing performance for Strahm, who had gone nine straight starts allowing three runs or less. The 27-year-old will now carry a 4.03 ERA into his next start versus the Nationals.
