Braves starter Kevin Gausman allowed seven earned runs on 12 hits and no walks while striking out three over five innings in a loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday. The loss drops him to 2-5 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Gausman has now allowed a whopping 15 earned runs over his last two starts (six innings), giving up 20 hits in the process. His ERA has jumped to 6.15 on the season after it had been down to 4.33 after three straight quality starts just two weeks ago. His next start is currently scheduled to come against the Pirates at home, and his spot in the rotation could be in jeopardy if he does not turn things around soon.
