Red Sox infielder Michael Chavis is not in the lineup for the team's matchup against the Tampa Bay Rays on Friday. Mitch Moreland will start at first base and bat fifth.
Fantasy Impact:
Chavis burst onto the scene in a big way after his call-up to the majors, displaying the raw power that saw him ascend through the minor league levels in rapid fashion. But he has struggled mightily over the last two weeks as he has failed to adjust to a league that has adjusted to him and is being given a day off with Mitch Moreland returning from the injured list.
