Brandon Woodruff allowed three runs on four hits over six innings in the Brewers' 10-4 win over the Pirates on Friday. He walked one and struck out ten while improving to 8-1.

This was a nice bounce back for Woodruff, who gave up six earned runs to the Pirates last time out. The ten strikeouts tied a season-high, and Woodruff picked up his fifth quality start over his last six appearances. His next start comes Friday at San Francisco.
