Anthony Rizzo reaches three times from leadoff spot Friday

Anthony Rizzo went 1-for-2 with a single and two walks in the Cubs' 3-1 win over the Cardinals on Friday.

Fantasy Impact:

This was a fine game for Rizzo, but the real story is his place atop the Cubs' order. He's spent time in the leadoff spot for Joe Maddon before, and while not the stereotypical leadoff man, Rizzo's 11% BB rate and .370 OBP make him a fine table-setter. The issue, at least from a traditionalist's standpoint, is that Rizzo has the power to not only set the table, but sit down and feast on the meal. This may have been a one-off thing for the Cubs, as Kyle Schwarber was not in the lineup, but it's something worth monitoring.
