Joey Votto went 2-for-4 with a solo home runin the Reds' 4-2 loss to the Phillies on Friday.
This ended a long home run drought for Votto, who hadn't gone deep since May 14. Fears about age-related power look all but confirmed. Votto has even been hitting better lately, with a .419 AVG over his last ten games, but he also has a .140 ISO over that same stretch. His .253 AVG should be on the rise, and he'll provide a near-elite OBP, but it's hard to expect his power to return at this point.
