Jack Flaherty can't make it through four Saturday
by Elliott Baas | Tigers Correspondent | Sun, Jun 9th 12:44pm EDT
Jack Flaherty allowed four runs on five hits over 3 2/3 innings in the Cardinals' 9-4 loss to the Cubs on Saturday. He walked three and struck out none in the no-decision.
Fantasy Impact:
This was the first start in Flaherty's career where he failed to record a strikeout. In fact, it was the first start where he failed to record at least two strikeouts. The young right-hander possesses massive potential, but is still inconsistent at this point in his career. His next start comes Thursday at the Mets.
