Matt Barnes blows save on Monday night

Matt Barnes gave up two runs on three hits and one walk while striking out one through 2/3 of an inning of relief work against the Rangers on Monday.
Fantasy Impact:
The Red Sox have been using a committee at closer this season and Barnes was called on to save the game on Monday but failed to protect the lead. The team may turn to someone else when the next opportunity arises but Barnes will still in the mix for holds and is worth owning in leagues that count both holds and saves.
