Jay Bruce homers again on Monday

Phillies outfielder Jay Bruce went 1-for-5 with home run in the team's loss to the Diamondbacks on Monday. The homer was his 19th of the season and his fifth since joining the Phillies just a week ago.
Fantasy Impact:
Bruce has burst onto the scene in Philadelphia, providing instant power almost every night. While he was likely brought in initially to be a role player and left-handed bat off the bench, the injury to Andrew McCutchen has given him a path to everyday playing time. So far, he is producing more than even the Phillies probably hoped.
