Corey Seager suffers apparent hamstring injury

by Clinton H. | Rangers Correspondent | Wed, Jun 12th 1:56am EDT

Corey Seager exited Tuesday night's game against the Angels in the 9th inning after suffering an apparent left hamstring injury. He was rounding third base when he immediately pulled up and reached for the back of his left hamstring. He went 3-for-4 on the night before the injury.

Fantasy Impact:

Seager had been swinging a hot bat going 14-of-36 in the month of June. Based on the visual, it wouldn't be a surprise if Seager landed on the IL, but owners will want to keep an eye out for an injury update from the team. Should he miss time, Chris Taylor should see some additional playing time.
