Braves starter Max Fried allowed five runs on seven hits and two walks over 4 2/3 innings while striking out four in a no-decision on Friday.
Fantasy Impact:
Fried was not particularly sharp in this one but was bailed out by a Philadelphia bullpen implosion late in the game. He is scheduled to take on the Mets in his next start, though it is worth noting that Sean Newcomb is starting for the Braves on Saturday and Dallas Keuchel will be added to the fold soon, making for a crowded Atlanta rotation. If Newcomb continues to pitch well and Fried continues to struggle, it's possible that the former could overtake the latter for a spot in the Atlanta rotation.
