Pablo Lopez earns fifth win Saturday

Marlins starter Pablo Lopez allowed three earned runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out four over seven strong innings in a win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday. The win brings him to 5-5 on the year.
Fantasy Impact:
Lopez has now thrown four straight quality starts as he continues an impressive season. Fantasy owners have to be a bit wary of Lopez because he will occasionally suffer through a rough outing like when he allowed 10 runs to the Mets a month ago or allowed four runs against the Nationals and not making it out of the fourth inning, but he seems to be getting stronger as the season goes on. His ERA is now down to 4.23 on the year after sitting up near the 6.00 mark after the aforementioned start against the Mets. He is currently scheduled to take on the Cardinals in St. Louis in his next start.
