Matt Carpenter homers in win Monday

Matt Carpenter went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and three runs scored in the Cardinals' 5-0 win over the Marlins on Monday.
Fantasy Impact:
This ended a long homer drought for Carpenter, as he hadn't gone deep since June 4. The veteran infielder has yet to snap out of his season-long slump, and is still hitting just .227 with a .334 OBP on the year. He presents a high-risk buy low opportunity for owners looking to take a chance, as Carpenter still has the capability to bounce back into a stud.
