Red Sox to sign former Ranger Alexi Ogando

Red Sox are in agreement with free-agent reliever Alexi Ogando on a one-year, major-league contract, pending a physical. (Fox Sports)
Fantasy Impact:
Alexi Ogando was quite successful in any role Texas put him into in his first two years including success as a starter with a 13 win season in 2012. The last two years have been filled with injuries and Ogando has not produced like he did his first two years. The Rangers decided not to tender him this offseason which left an opening for the Red Sox to sign him to a one year incentive laden contract. If healthy look for Ogando to provide versatility to the staff.
