A.J. Pollock (elbow) could begin rehab assignment during All-Star break

A.J. Pollock, recovering from elbow surgery that has sidelined him since late April, could play rehab games during the All-Star break. (Ken Gurnick on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

That still makes the outfielder at least a month away from returning to the Dodgers. Alex Verdugo has flourished in his absence, so the Dodgers are looking into giving Joc Pederson work at first base, which likely would mean Max Muncy moving to second. Since Pollock was hitting .223/.287/.330 with two homers and no steals in 28 games before getting sidelined, he's not an essential stash in shallow mixed leagues.
