Jack Flaherty strikes out eight in loss Tuesday

Jack Flaherty allowed three runs on four hits over seven innings in the Cardinals' 6-0 loss to the Marlins on Tuesday. He walked one and struck out eight while falling to 4-4.
Fantasy Impact:
Once again, Flaherty piled up strikeouts but struggled to keep runs off the board. He served up a pair of bombs, and now has a 1.67 HR/9 on the year along with a 4.42 FIP. His 3.89 xFIP is a little more favorable, but Flaherty will need to curb the longball if he wants to maintain a sub-four ERA. His next start comes Tuesday vs. Oakland.
