Phillies starter Jake Arrieta allowed one earned run on two hits and one walk while striking out three over six innings in Wednesday’s loss to the Washington Nationals. The loss drops him to 6-6 on the season.

Fantasy Impact:

Arrieta pitched well enough to win on Wednesday but was going up against Max Scherzer, who shut down the Philadelphia offense. Arrieta now has a 4.12 ERA and 73 strikeouts over 91 2/3 innings on the season, and he is scheduled to face off against the New York Mets at home in his next start.
