Fantasy Impact:
Foltynewicz appeared to break out in 2018, posting a 2.85 ERA and a 27.2 percent strikeout rate. That strikeout rate has plummeted to 19.2 percent this season, and his ERA has ballooned to 6.37 after his recent blowup against the Nationals on Saturday. He'll get a chance to sort things out in the minors. The Braves have not yet announced a replacement for Foltynewicz in the rotation.
