Joey Gallo (oblique) expected to return Tuesday

Joey Gallo is expected to return from an oblique injury on Tuesday. The Rangers optioned Kyle Bird to Nashville after the game Sunday and Gallo's activation is the expected corresponding move. According to Rangers manager Chriss Woodward, Gallo might DH in the first few games back. (Joseph Hoyt on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Oblique injuries can certainly hamper power, but the timeline has remained constant for Gallo's return and it appears his recovery has been on track the entire time. The Rangers get six games this week with three lefties (Matthew Boyd, Ryan Yarbrough, and Blake Snell) on tap, but based his start to the season where he's batting .314 against LHP, you'll want him back in your lineup right away.
