Tyler Glasnow suffers setback; shut down for three weeks

by Dan Harris | Dodgers Correspondent | Mon, Jun 24th 9:43pm EDT

Tyler Glasnow felt discomfort while throwing on Sunday and an MRI showed right flexor inflammation. He will be shut down from throwing for three weeks before being re-evaluated. (Marc Topkin on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

This is a huge blow for Glasnow owners, as he was initially expected to be back right after the All-Star break. At this point, even if things go well, Glasnow is likely to miss at least another six weeks, as he'll need to ramp up again even if he's cleared. Given his upside, owners should try to hold Glasnow if they can. But prepare to be without the young stud for several more weeks.
