Adbert Alzolay can't make it through five Tuesday

by Elliott Baas | Cubs Correspondent | Tue, Jun 25th 11:24pm EDT

Adbert Alzolay allowed one run on one hit over 4 2/3rds innings in the Cubs' 3-2 loss to the Braves on Tuesday. He walked four and struck out four in the no-decision.

Fantasy Impact:

A solo home run to Ronald Acuna was his only hiccup in this one, though Alzolay had a hard time finding the strike zone. It took him 87 pitches to get 14 outs, and he issued four free passes. Alzolay was carving hitters up at Triple-A this season, but he'll need to show us a little more before we can trust him in standard leagues. If he makes another start it would likely come Monday at Pittsburgh.
