Brad Hand demolished in first blown save

by Matthew Terelle | Wed, Jun 26th 7:45am EDT

Cleveland Indians closer Brad Hand was hit hard in his first blown save of the season. Called upon to protect a 6-3 lead in the ninth, Hand coughed up five runs in an eventual 8-6 loss to the Royals.

Fantasy Impact:

Hand has been one of the best closers in baseball this season, so he can surely be forgiven for the poor outing. With the loss, Hand's ERA ballooned to 2.36. No need for concern as he was due for a bad outing after being unhittable for most of the season.
