Max Fried strikes out eight in win Tuesday

Max Fried (9-3) picked up the win Tuesday against the Cubs, allowing two earned runs on two hits and five walks while striking out eight across six innings.
Fantasy Impact:
Fried's eight strikeouts match a season best, and they were backed up by 15 swinging strikes. His five walks are somewhat concerning, as that ties a season-high as well. Fried entered the game with a 6.53 ERA in June, so Tuesday's performance is a nice change of pace for the struggling lefthander. His next start will come Sunday on the road against the Mets.
