Tyler Mahle allowed four runs on six hits over five innings in the Reds' 5-1 loss to the Angels on Tuesday. He walked two and struck out four while falling to 2-8.
Fantasy Impact:
Mahle also served up two homers in this one, proving that his chronic Gopheritis lives on even outside of Great American Ballpark. Mahle has some big strikeout upside thanks to a wicked fastball, but his limited repertoire makes him tough to trust on a regular basis. Consider him a desperation or matchup based streamer. His next start is one to avoid, as he takes on Milwaukee at home.
