Giancarlo Stanton (knee) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays. He had an MRI Wednesday that revealed "no new injury." (Lindsey Adler on Twitter)

According to Adler's report, manager Aaron Boone said Stanton's knee is sore and stiff, but not significant enough to warrant an injured list stint. The MRI revealed no swelling in the knee, and he'll receive further treatment today. He's day-to-day for now, and more details should emerge after his treatment Wednesday.
