Jason Vargas punches out 10 in no-decision Wednesday

Jason Vargas (3-3) allowed two runs on three hits and two walks across 6.1 innings. He struck out a career high 10 batters.
Fantasy Impact:
Vargas was in a groove for most of this game, at one point retiring 11 consecutive batters, seven by way of the strikeout. His only blemish was a solo home run allowed to Jean Segura in the sixth. Vargas has an impressive 3.66 ERA and 1.28 WHIP on the season, and a 57:28 K:BB through 66.1 innings. His next start will come Tuesday against the Yankees.
