Shane Bieber pitched eight shutout innings on Sunday against the Orioles, allowing just three hits while striking out 11. He earned the victory, moving to 7-3.
Fantasy Impact:
Bieber has had some mild ups and downs but overall has been extremely impressive. Putting aside his 3.54 ERA and 1.04 WHIP, his exceptional strikeout rate (133 in 104 1/3 innings) has been the real head-turner for the youngster. With one more start against the Reds before the All-Star Break, Bieber will look to finish strong and keep his momentum going in the second half.
