Strahm will be available to pitch out of the bullpen this weekend, as the Padres wrap up the first half of the season. He may be the odd man out when Dinelson Lamet returns later this week, which may bump Strahm to the bullpen for the remainder of the season. Strahm pitched well as a reliever in 2018, posting a 2.05 ERA and a 28.2% strikeout rate. As a starter in 2019, Strahm has pitched to the tune of a 5.42 ERA.
