Clayton Kershaw was in peak form on Friday versus San Diego, allowing just two runs (one earned) on five hits and a walk in seven strong innings.
Fantasy Impact:
Kerhsaw also struck out nine in the vintage performance. However, he's actually been pretty great this season as well. Kershaw now owns a 3.09 ERA on the year to go along with a 1.05 WHIP, seven wins, and 91 strikeouts in 99 innings. The strikeout rate isn't what it once was, but Kershaw is proving he's still plenty capable of being a fantasy ace.
