Liam Hendriks pitched a perfect ninth inning Friday to record his fourth save of the season in a 5-2 win over the Mariners.
Fantasy Impact:
Hendriks has been lights out recently, as he hasn't allowed a earned run in over his last 15 2/3 innings pitched. He will remain the closer as Oakland plans to ride his performance as long as possible. Hendriks has a 1.27 ERA and 62 strikeouts in 49 2/3 innings pitched this season. Even with the return of Blake Treinen, Hendriks is a must add or hold in all leagues as long as he remains the closer in Oakland.
