Minnesota Twins right-hander Kyle Gibson was removed after one scoreless inning in a 4-1 loss to the Rangers on Sunday. He walked one and struck out one in the frame.
Fantasy Impact:
This was apparently the plan all along as Gibson was pitching on four days rest. The veteran right-hander heads into the All-Star break with an 8-4 record, 4.09 ERA, 1.26 WHIP, and 94 strikeouts in 94 2/3 innings of work.
