Mike Clevinger turns in five strong innings

Cleveland Indians right-hander Mike Clevinger pitched five innings of one-run ball in a 5-3 loss to the Twins on Friday. Clevinger struck out six in a no-decision.

When he left, Clevinger was in line for the win but his bullpen coughed up four runs over the final four innings. The right-hander now has a 2-2 record, 3.99 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, and 46 strikeouts in six starts.
