Noah Syndergaard earns seventh win in quality start Saturday
by Mike Maher | Sun, Jul 14th 9:11am EDT
Mets starter Noah Syndergaard allowed two earned runs on five hits and no walks while striking out nine over seven innings in a win over the Miami Marlins on Saturday. The win brings him to 7-4 on the year.
Fantasy Impact:
Syndergaard has had an inconsistent season for the Mets, and Saturday’s quality start was his first in more than a month. He will take a 4.55 ERA and 110 strikeouts over 112 2/3 innings into his next start against the Giants in San Francisco as trade rumors begin to swirl around nearly all of New York’s starters.
